Toward the end of each year, I spend time setting goals for the following year. Personal goals. Writing goals. Painting goals.
One of my writing goals for 2009 was to “identify and join a good writing group”. A group that would support both my writing and my faith.
Since the beginning of the year, I have looked through a number of writing organizations, writer’s blogs and other groups looking for just the right group.
Last week, I found that group.
ChristianWriters.com is a forum open to writers all over the world. Writers come from all genre from romance to end times and from places all around the globe. But they have one thing in common: they all name the name of Christ.
The forum is currently over 8,200 members strong and is growing. Writers can find technical support, critiquing support and personal support within this group. I have been a member for less than a week and have already been warmly welcomed into the group and found some fellow members who are from my own part of the world.
Established writers and wannabe writers are welcome. So if you, too, are looking for group of writers that shares your world view and is willing to help in your walk as a writer, check out ChristianWriters.com
